Remember Danielle & John? Well, they got married this past summer and it was perfect! I have gotten to know these two over the past few years and I feel so honoured to be let into their circle and photograph this special moment in their life. I take this very seriously with all my clients but this one was extra special. One of their close family members was diagnosed with cancer while planning their wedding and I wanted to make sure I captured their day just as they remembered it.
Danielle and John got married at the beautiful St. Boniface Golf Course. If you haven’t seen their new ceremony space, you have to check it out. From the ceremony, to family and wedding party portraits, everything can be done on site. Danielle and her bridal party started the day getting ready at the Fairmont Winnipeg before we all met up at Upper Fort Garry (near the Fort Garry Hotel) for a first look and portraits. From the moment you meet these two, you know just how in love they are and their photos show it. After the first look we headed to a couple of photo spots around Winnipeg’s Exchange District before heading to the King’s Head Pub for a drink. After everyone was recharged we were off to St. Boniface Golf Course for the ceremony & reception. Take a peak at their big day and the mega-vendors that made this day possible.
