Morgan + Brandon first met at Camp Wasaga where they attended and eventually worked together as camp counsellors. Â Throughout the years, they hit it off and started dating at the very place they would eventually get married at!
If you have not been to the Clear Lake or the Wasagaming area, you have to go! Â Riding Mountain National Park is one of my favourite places to visit, not only in the summer but year round. Â Thus, I couldn’t have been more excited to work a wedding there.
Morgan & Brandon’s ceremony took place in a  clearing amongst the trees and guests overlooked the water behind them.  There were many bear sightings this year in Wasagaming, so I  may be been secretly hoping one would have made a friendly sighting during the ceremony but no such luck 🙂  (although earlier in the week they had spotted a bear there!).
After the ceremony, we headed into the town of Clear Lake for some photos before going back for their reception in the dining hall and then dance in the mess hall. Â We talked about the possibility of taking some photos on the water at some point as well, and they both were excited at the idea of doing a photo in a canoe. Â As the sun was going down that night, the wind started really picking up, making the water quite rough. Â I told Morgan that if they really wanted to still do it, we should do it before the dance, but that we could just leave it if the water was two rough. Â Morgan, being a former water sport counsellor, was all game. Â A bit of rough water was not going to deter them (I was terrified one of them was going to end up in the water!). Â The two of them rocked it and there were no dress casualties!
